This picture was feature in the Octopus Books publication THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF SCIENCE-FICTION. It's so long out of print that it has been forgotten.

One of my all time favourite Sci Fi images.Just fantastic realism. It's snowy where I am on the 10/2/2012 so there's a coincidence as well. You can almost feel the cold with the Explorers breath freezing in the air.
